Kirk Cameron:Being Gay is Unnatural

Send to Kindle

Kirk Cameron actor turned evangelist, appeared on Piers Morgan Show, and stated his views on the homosexual lifestyle.  He stated being gay is “unnatural and detrimental” and also marriage should be between a man and a woman.  It was clear Piers Morgan, did not agree with his views, and responded, “If my son told me he was gay. I would say that is great! As long as you are happy.” Kirk responded with just because it feels good it does not mean you should act on it.

Piers continued to push the issue and to use the fact, seven states have approved gay marriage. Also, Piers said, “I am not an American” as if he was being objective.  I believe, Kirk Cameron, was attempting to say if you put all of the gay men (of the world) on one island, and all the gay women on another island, in one-hundred years they would die off.  This means because of the unnatural nature of the union there is no way to procreate. This is not a debatable  fact of this scenario.

It took great courage for Kirk to share his views in front of millions of viewers.  Of course there would be immediate backlash for those who do not approve of his Biblical sound responses.

Herndon Graddick of GLAAD responded:

“With an increasing number of states recognizing marriage equality, Americans are seeing that marriage is about committed couples who want to make a lifelong promise to take care of and be responsible for each other and that gay and lesbian couples need equal security and legal protections. That’s not ‘redefining’ anything,” said Graddick.

Clearly, being a homosexual is not supported in the Bible. Even Bill Mahr, has spread disinformation on the Bible saying it is outdated and stated, it is only addressed in the Old Testament of the Bible, in his special, “Religulous”. The irony is Bill tries to set up himself as knowledgeable on so many topics, when he clearly is not.  Here is one example from the New Testament regarding homosexuality:

Romans 1:24-27

New International Version (NIV)

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Graddick also said:

“Cameron is out of step with a growing majority of Americans, particularly people of faith who believe that their gay and lesbian brothers and sisters should be loved and accepted based on their character and not condemned because of their sexual orientation.”

Let’s take a look at what the Bible says about the last days and how people will twist the Word of the Bible to their own human desires, even the so-called faithful:

2 Timothy 4:3

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

As you can see God knew this time would come and people would change the true nature of His Word. Is Kirk Cameron wrong? Not according to the Bible! He is wrong in the eyes of man. Who would you rather disappoint? God or man?
