One of the twelve, must see sky-watching events of 2012, is on the heels of the “Ring of Fire” eclipse. If you are one of the misplaced souls who live on the East Coast like me you can not see it!   I will find a video on the Internet to watch it and appreciate it.

The transit of Venus is the rarest one of all. Venus will traverse across the Sun and appear as a “black-spot” on the Sun. Only six of these transit have been recorded by civilization: 1639, 1761, 1769, 1874, 1882, and 2004.   Most of us will not be alive to see the next one because it will be the year 2114!

This rare event will manifest on June 5, 2012 and almost the entire world will see this.  Is this a coincidence a rare event like this is happening in 2012.  I hate to “beat a dead horse” on this site regarding the Mayans and 2012.  They NEVER said it was the end of the world.  This was just a case of bad journalism and media whoring.  The Mayans said this was a time of great social, global, economic and spiritual change, and the return of the gods!

We are seeing all of these points materialize in front of us, with the exception of the “gods.”  Perhaps, we should indulge ourselves in mass prayer on this day?  Pray for the death of corruption, hatred, racism, murder, rape, etc.  Something great is happening where the people are not just demanding change,  they are taking it.

Keep your mind open during this time and give forgiveness a try as well.  You might just end up sleeping better!
