One country you will never see the “Rainbow Parade” is the West African nation of Gambia. When it comes to this issue the President has thrown the baby out with the bath water and if you are gay or lesbian put this on your sensitive country list. His name is Yahya Jammeh and he became president of Gambia in 1994.
“Let me make it very clear that, if you want me to offend God for you to give me aid, you are making a great mistake; you will not bribe me to do what is evil and ungodly.”
He is anti-gay because he is believes same sex unions are unnatural. It is not debatable same sex unions can not reproduce with out a third party. It will always be an exercise in futility to argue against the unnatural aspect of same sex unions. President Jammeh is taking a serious risk being anti-gay because his country receives humanitarian resources from America.
His stance is zero tolerance against gay people because he warns gay people will regret being born. His latest speech called for continued “peace” unless you are chasing a same sex “piece.” He followed up with a stern warning for gays to stay out of his country or suffer the consequences. Obviously, this will not go over well with the “Christian” president of the USA. Who fully supports same sex unions.
“If you are convicted of homosexuality in this country, there will be no mercy for offenders.”
This anti-gay terror judgement is fully executed in the Middle East as well, where gay people are captured, beaten, plowed with laxatives and water, where finally their anuses are super glued shut. If you are gay do not go there either! Be very happy you live in a country where Holy Scripture is over ruled by the Government. These are dangerous times for gay people traveling in the wrong country.
In a sense you have to respect the fact he is unyielding on the directives of the Quran. Another example of the Muslim people not sacrificing their beliefs for anyone nor any reason. I have often wondered how there could ever be a one world religion when Islam will never support gay people. I will agree taking a life is never godly nor acceptable for any reason; however, there is a media driven movement in the USA to force gay marriage under the umbrella of The Most High.
The USA had absolutely no problem separating Church and State, yet they stubbornly insist rolling gay marriage into the Church. This has inflamed many countries against the spiritual compass of the USA and a loss of respect for the spiritual leadership in the country. This is most likely what I call “pea-cocking” on international issues. It sounds extreme for us to hear this rhetoric but from their perspective they have witnessed extreme liberalism on spiritual laws.
“Homosexuality is anti-god, anti-human, and anti-civilization. Homosexuals are not welcome in the Gambia. If we catch you, you will regret why you are born. I have buffalos from South Africa and Brazil and they never date each other. We are ready to eat grass but we will not compromise on this. Allowing homosexuality means allowing satanic rights. We will not allow gays here.”
There are also serious health issues sweeping his country such as HIV and AIDS. There are many suppressed inherent health issues coupled with homosexual intercourse which are rarely discussed by the media. It is no secret anal sex is considered a high-risk sexual practice because of the vulnerability of the anus and rectum, including infections due to the high number of infectious microorganisms not found elsewhere on the body, and physical damage to the anus and the rectum due to their fragility.
President Jammeh has the full support of the Imams who are the worship leaders of the various mosque and the Muslim community. Because of this you can rest assured Jammeh is speaking for the people of this small Muslim country. It is not like in the USA where Christians decide what is right and wrong in the Bible. You never hear a Muslim say — “Man wrote the Quran so it could be wrong!”
I am surprised a leader of a country would ever make a stance against homosexuality with so much swelling American support for it. We will have to wait see what the ramifications are for this outspoken repudiation of the gay agenda. These are powerful anti-gay words to speak but with spiritual backing of two Holy Books is very powerful. The Bible and Quran stand in conformance when it comes to same sex unions.
