Celtic Theory of the Sun Wheel
Earlier in the year Revelation Now posted a piece about some interesting art that can be found in an almost hidden part of Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The artwork (pictured below) is one in a series of pieces, named by the artist, “As Above, So below.” After exploring the history of Grand Central Terminal and the artist, Ellen Driscoll, a few revealing details came to light about this artwork, its meaning, and possible reasons why it decorates the corridors of Grand Central Terminal.
Immediately, when I saw the picture of the artwork I recalled the scripture in Ezekiel about his vision of the wheel within a wheel.
The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
Although, when the entire series of artwork is brought into perspective, it appears to be more indicative of the sun and sun worship. All of the art pieces included in, As Above So Below, depict some form of sun worship or pagan Astrology. In fact this particular piece is the artist’s rendition of the Celtic theory of the sun wheel, also known as The Wheel of Taranis (the Celtic name for Baal), The Celtic Cross, and The Black Sun.
All of these symbols originate from the solar wheel. The solar wheel is an ancient symbol found at the heart of many sun worshiping peoples. It is the object of sun worship which is ultimately just another flavor of Baal worship, a pagan form of idol worship that is still widely practiced all over the earth. It has just been renamed and repackaged to suit different cultures. There are a wide variety of solar wheel symbols to accommodate the different cultures and religions that worship the sun god. Sun\Baal worship can be traced back to pagan worship at Babel where Nimrod (also known as Marduk) was worshiped as the sun god.
Nimrod became known as Baal, meaning LORD, and was worshiped by the Babylonians as the sun in the sky — thus the origin of “going to the heavens” at death. (Source)
The Nazi swastika is also derived from the Sun Wheel which was known as the Black Sun to the Nazis. There was even a secret Occult order bearing the name sake of the Black Sun during the Nazi period that was so feared it is still illegal to print its insignia in modern day Germany. To many, the Nazis were a political party or ruling class of Germany, but Nazism is indeed a religious system of worship that was ruling Germany during the reign of Hitler, rather than just a political party. Wewelsburg castle was planned to be the new home of the center of the world and home of religious third reich leaders after the final victory of World War II.

The Ukrainian, Azov Battalion (neo-Nazis) currently fighting the Pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine also bear the symbol of the Nazi Black Sun along with the Ukrainian Coat of Arms Trident symbol (Tryzub). The black sun is visible in the background of both of the images below.

Not surprisingly we can also find worship of the Black Sun in Mecca at the Kaaba stone. Upon examination, the geometry of the Kaaba stone reveals a sun cross in the shape of a cube. This same geometry can be seen on the north pole of the planet Saturn. Nimrod\Marduk was worshiped as Satan at Babel (Genesis 10-11) where the Chaldean mystery religion of Babylon began. Interestingly, an aerial photo of Muslims worshiping at the Kaaba Stone distinctly resembles the planet Saturn with its rings.

“Nimrod was known as the god of the Chaldean Mysteries. In the Chaldean mysteries, the Babylonian dictator Nimrod was deified as Saturn. Satan and Saturn are the same words, one ‘Early Latin’, and the other ‘Late Latin’… His birthday was celebrated on December 25th or the Saturnalia. Saturn and Mystery are both Chaldean words, and they are correlative terms. As Mystery signifies the hidden system, so Saturn signifies the hidden god.*” (Source)

Monuments made in the likeness of the sun wheel dot the landscape of the US as well. The Washington Monument and the 9/11 Memorial in New York are two prominent examples of this same architecture.

The Washington Monument fits the description of the Asherah Poles mentioned in scripture, which were employed in the worship of Baal. Asherah poles are detestable to the Most High God and he commanded his people not to erect these symbols of idolatrous worship in the promised land. (Asherah poles are also known as obelisks and phallic symbols)
Judges 3:7 New Living Translation (NLT)
The Israelites did evil in the Lord’s sight. They forgot about the Lord their God, and they served the images of Baal and the Asherah poles.
Deuteronomy 16:21 New Living Translation (NLT)
Oddly enough, the architectural adornments of hundreds of houses of worship devoted to the Most High God bear striking resemblance to the biblical Asherah pole and the Washington monument. Undoubtedly, most church goers have no idea that the steeple of their church is actually an Asherah pole that symbolizes Baal worship.
Hosea 4:6 King James Version (KJV)
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Last but not least, the Catholic Church and the Vatican are replete with symbols of sun\baal worship.

This image of the Asherah pole at the Vatican, with worshipers surrounding it, is eerily similar to the image of Muslim worshipers at the Kaaba Stone.
This is all very curious and begs the question: why was a symbol of Baal worship portrayed in the, “As Above, So Below” artwork displayed in the lower tunnels of Grand Central Terminal?
As you may already know, the name, As Above, So Below, is taken from an Occult maxim that was translated from the The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus.
The actual text of that maxim, as translated by Dennis W. Hauck from The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, is: “That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracle of the One Thing.” Thus, whatever happens on any level of reality (physical, emotional, or mental) also happens on every other level. The, As Above, So Below, artwork was named thus because the ceiling of the main concourse is an artistic rendering of the Astrological Zodiac “Above” the terminal while elaborating on the on astrological aspects of pagan cultures around the world “below” the terminal.
Located in Grand Central Terminal North, the mosaic, bronze, and glass reliefs in Ellen Driscoll’s As Above, So Below pay homage to the heritage of the Main Concourse by taking the viewer on a round-the-world journey to the night sky above five different continents. The work’s tableaux recount myths of the continents and their civilizations, the heavens, and the underworld. (Source)

Grand Central Terminal, like Rockefeller Center and other locations in the area have deep roots in the Occult. The Terminal was built by Cornelius Vanderbilt in the late 1800s. The Vanderbilt family resides at the top of the Illuminati Hierarchy along with the Rockefellers, Whitneys, and Goulds among others. The Terminal is decorated in Occult symbolism throughout and has a good deal of Occult history as well.
Grand Central Station. This crowning edifice of the beaux-arts architectural movement of the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries forms a temple of occult imagery, including magnificent statues of Hermes, Athena, Hercules and a domed ceiling featuring the images of the zodiac, the equinox, and a variety of ancient symbols. Grand Central sits on Pershing Square, named for the American World War I general who patronized the work of Manly P. Hall, the renowned esotericist who completed his Secret Teachings of All Ages steps away at the New York Public Library. (Source)

Given the history of Grand Central Terminal and its builder, Cornelius Vanderbilt, it is not hard to understand why it is riddled with such esoteric symbolism. There is little doubt of dual meaning implied by these Occult symbols.
Whether intentional by the artist or not, these symbols pay homage to the sun god Baal and reveal the depth of Occult permeation in society. To the passers by and likely the artist as well these images are just art perhaps with harmless meaning. To the spiritually aware they are symbols of what is wrong with this broken world and point to the principalities and powers that rule in high places.
Ecclesiastes 1:9New Living Translation (NLT)
History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.
Is it possible that images like these give power to or seal the spells that cause the masses to sleep while evil proliferates around the world? More than thirty thousand commuters pass through the corridors daily where this art is located (source). Does this explain the location of the art? The number of people who pass by or pass through Grand Central Terminal that subconsciously encounter these pagan symbols is immeasurable, whether “Above” in the main concourse where the painting of the Zodiac looks down on them, or “Below” in the Metro North tunnels where Mosaics of pagan symbols adorn the walls, or even passing by outside where the statue of Hermes, Athena, and Hercules stands.
