After watching this trailer it reminded me of my adolescence where Saturdays were the only day to see cartoons and the crazy afternoon Japanese monster movies. The Japanese actors lips would move after they spoke and normally had a heinous laugh. This is what the movie “Attack of the Titans” evoked in me. This particular “giant” movie is not too much of a deviation away from “Jack the Giant Slayer” where giants loved the taste of human flesh.

Where “Attack on Titan” differs is obvious, with the cinematography in Japan, it is guaranteed to be colorful and stunning. Every culture has their own version of ancient giants in their country. There are also prophecies of their return. If that is in the spiritual or physical sense remains to be seen. The giants in this movie seem demon possessed and ferocious. We also see the giants enjoy moving around butt naked.

I am not sure about you, but I will happily rent this movie. It should be interesting giant research because there is always a nugget of truth in everything. It is up to us to find the whole truth. The Japanese have a flare for action sequences and I am sure this movie will deliver. What do you say? Are you with me?
