It is painfully obvious many people think they understand what Christ was teaching and they really just do not get it. They bastardize political agendas as if Christ would endorse them. You will find no where in any book of the Bible or missing books that Christ took interest in politics. The only time he mentioned Caesar was to avoid a public speaking trap and he countered with, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.” He said this to illustrate they are two distinctly different Kingdoms and one has nothing to do with the other.

I recently experienced a situation where a person who has elevated himself up in his mind as a spiritual leader, yet does not understand this spiritual truth. He erroneously believes Christ is concerned with the platform of Presidential candidates and also when they are elected Presidents. He believes you should only pray for world leaders if their politics are in-line with Biblical law. For starters there would be no Kings of the Earth if they all were required to follow Biblical law. We as a people are required to pray for all the Kings of the Earth. Regardless, of our political affiliation and there is a spiritual application here to understand, as well.

“1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior.” -1 Timothy 2:1-3

This spiritual application has obviously escaped the knowledge base of many of these self appointed spokespersons for Christ. This tells me they do not understand how the spiritual Kingdom operates. We are commanded to bring any issue we have with the Kings of the Earth to the Throne of the Most High for resolution. We do not pick and choose which candidates receive our prayers, that is up to the Most High’s agenda…not ours. When we pray for our leaders we petition the Most High to change their hearts. If you do not pray in the spiritual realm there will be no action to cause a reaction in the physical realm. Most of these self appointed preachers do not comprehend this nor do the sycophants they surround themselves with.

The Bible is a book for the heart and mind where its power can only be called upon through the heart and mind. If you are bastardizing politics with the Kingdom please show me any Bible verse that promotes this. I am learning many people who claim to “love the Lord” are spiritually retarded and will never execute change from the spiritual realm. Many people have politicized Jesus and believe Jesus would endorse what they endorse. Christ did not care about Caesars agenda which was rife with: murder, homosexuality, lies, and power by any means necessary. Why do so many Christians attach their wagon to politics? They live in a country that mass murders in the name of democracy and poisons their own people, yet they endorse politicians as the “godly” choice.

If these politicians truly followed the teachings of Christ there would be no wars and nothing to harm another individual in any way. These confused Christians do not understand the basic law of LOVE and loving the Most High enough to trust his commands; including pray for all your leaders. No matter if you agree with their platforms are not. If you do not understand to pray for your leaders then there is much you do not understand about other spiritual laws. Being born again means erasing what you have been programmed with in the earthly realm and reprogramming yourself with spiritual teachings…only. Operating out of spirit is POWER over the earthly realm.

We should not just be praying for the American President either, we should pray for ALL the leaders of the world. That includes China, Russia, Germany, Korea, Africa, and Japan, etc. If a leader has a heart you can pray to have The Most High influence it. Anyone telling you otherwise is delusional and you should run away from them like Forrest Gump under a rock throwing attack. The real students and practitioners of the teachings of Christ know to take all things to the Throne. Not just those whose political platform you agree with.
