The Internet has turned into a dangerous place of hive minded followers who guzzle the Kool Aid of their favorite personalities with a blog, video, or podcast. They place their complete trust in their cult of personality and will argue fervently for the veracity of any claim they make. There is a model at play here which can be easily explained and should act as a deterrent mentally moving forward. If you have the mental acumen and discernment to grasp what I am sharing with you. The alternative media has morphed into an echo chamber where it is obvious creative content and groundbreaking exclusives are on the decline. The new model relies on content providers following alternative media personalities with the most views and then adopting stories from them with spin.

This is how stories begin to replicate across the Internet and the more people who tell a story the more believable it becomes. With most, if not all, there is absolutely no vetting or due diligence provided. This is a tremendous spiritual crime becomes it sets the stage to bear false witness. It would be a different story if facts were provided and not just circumstantial or hearsay. Did you notice for a time the alternative media tried to divert attention to Antarctica? Once the story was planted the parrots of the echo chamber began to wash, rinse, and repeat. Soon everyone on the Internet was clucking about Antarctica. Alex Jones, Doug Hagmann, and Steve Quayle heavily promoted “Pizza Gate” and now that lawsuits are pending this subject has receded into their blog archives.

Christians who participate with this Internet cannon fodder are breaking spiritual guidelines set forth in Scripture. In essence, bloggers who continually parrot echo chamber themes are essentially gossiping under the canopy of Truth. In addition to parroting gossip they also bear false witness on many victims. Once you truly follow the teachings of Christ you can harm no one physically, mentally, or emotionally. Many Christian alternative media content providers parrot themes from ungodly sources and promote them as they are truth. The echo chamber is now the foundation for many content providers who are seeking clicks to their site. It certainly appears without the echo chamber these alternative media content providers would have nothing to say.

13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. - John 16:13

This is how you know who is not serving the Most High as well. If you see your favorite alternative media personality parroting the echo chamber then you know their information is not authentic. People who truly serve the Most High will not participate in this and most likely their parroting is financially motivated and your click is nothing more than currency to them. These parrots also must believe the people are stupid and then you become a target to exploit. The echo chamber needs to be shattered because nothing good can come out of it. It does not matter how beautiful the feathers are of the parrot they will never soar with eagles. You have been warned.
