First Bionic Wireless Underwater Fish Drone

First Bionic Wireless Underwater Fish Drone

The drone market has now expanded into the water with the Kickstarter driven Biki, the world’s first underwater drone. It touts a 4K imaging capability with GPS and bluetooth. In other words any cell phone can operate the Biki. It has an operational fish tail and swims like a fish allowing it to not spook schools of fish. It is self balancing in the water and it has built in avoidance technology meaning it will not bump into anything.

This opens the door for independent viodographers to branch out into the water and capture footage. RoboSea, is the company who created the Biki and I predict it will be a successful product. Right now the drone water space is in the early stages of the growth cycle, so we can expect to see competitors join the foray into the drone seas. I have already added Biki to my Christmas list!
