First, I cannot believe I am writing about this subject after voluminous video of the Earth from: Russia, China, North Korea, Japan, and India. This is my second time at the flat earth rodeo I remember when it reared its Dark Age head in 2002 and then dissipated without a whimper.  This time around opportunistic unqualified people used the Bible to build a case the Earth is “flat” to make it special out of all of the other spherical Celestial objects. I noticed a trend where most of these neophyte flat-earthers had basic distrust for all things Government and low education in mathematics and science.

With the history of the US Government, distrusting it is quite easy to do once you learn of its vile history. Much like the reinvigorated Central Park Five case there are lying and unethical people like Linda Fairstein. The problem with most flat-earthers have low education in mathematics and science. This precludes them from understanding invisible forces and laws that prove the Earth is not only spherical but rotates. Take the Corealis Effect which is defined as: an effect whereby a mass moving in a rotating system experiences a force (the Coriolis force ) acting perpendicular to the direction of motion and to the axis of rotation. On the earth, the effect tends to deflect moving objects to the right in the northern hemisphere and to the left in the southern and is important in the formation of cyclonic weather systems.

This force alone negates the flat earth platform because the flat-earthers claim the Earth does not move. Yet, flat-earthers cannot explain the Corealis Effect. Nor do they care too because they claim the Bible says the Earth is flat. Most of these folks dismiss facts which makes them all delusional. Which makes belief in the flat-earth a psychosis. One of the fastest comebacks for discrediting video evidence of the round earth are near-space balloons with a fisheye lens or NASA media is all CGI. Well the video below is from a US Air Force high altitude aircraft with a standard video camera…meaning no fisheye.

You will clearly see the curvature of the Earth in the video. You will also see there is no distortion from a fisheye lens bending the image. The Earth is clearly spherical but even this 100% evidence will not be enough and Biblical scripture twisters take advantage of this. One of the favorite go to quotes of Bible twisters is Isaiah 40:22. Here it says, He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.First, the Bible is not a science book…it is a spiritual book. It is full of laws, history, literal events, poems and metaphors, etc.

Some people can use this verse and twist scripture by saying Heaven is a canopy and space is contained in a tent. As a result of our progressive maturity in science we know this is not the case. There are even ancient artifacts clearly showing the spherical Earth like the rest of the planets in the solar system. The Bible does not address the magnetic field surrounding the Earth, yet it exist. The flat earth scripture twisters like to use “circle” because the Hebrew word means “flat circle” but even that does not equate to a flat earth.

Flat earthers also like 1 Chronicles 16:30 – 30 Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. The flat-earth scripture twister uses this verse to say the Earth does not move…at all. No rotation, no movement at all. How about the fact the Earth is in a fixed location from the Sun? In fact, our world orbits the sun at just the right distance — not too hot, not too cold. This habitable zone is where water can exist in liquid form — a basic requirement for life. If the Earth moved away from this perfect fixed point life would cease to exist on the Earth!

I could add more twisted scripture but it will turn out the same as I just showed you. The Bible does not say the Earth is flat and that is fact. Bible twisters use flawed inference to promote the flat earth and they usually have a DVD to sell or their new book. Here is a scripture that perfectly fits the scripture twisting flat earth salesmen. 2 Peter 2:3 says, In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed.
