Jack the Giant Slayer’s trailer was released last year and we were told this movie would be released Summer of 2012. The movie was not released because the studio was concerned the movie “The Avengers” would dominate the box office and they were correct. This movie is a re-imagination of the timeless tale “Jack and the Beanstalk.” Now that Hollywood technology has the ability to realistically recreate this tale, it looks to be a blockbuster.
Naturally, this will be an interesting movie to get a glimpse inside the culture of Giants. Hopefully Giant civilization was meticulously researched and incorporated into the movie. One only needs to read, “The Giant Cities of Bashan and Syria’s Holy Places” published in 1877, to read the ancient accounts of Giants. It is a truly fascinating read!
This movie neatly falls into our “Giants” category and surely will be entertaining. If you have read the “Book of Enoch” you will know it is prophesied the Giants will return one day. This will not be good news for humanity because most of the world is now obese and we will surely look delicious.
