Anchor Lauren Green has added to the folly of Fox News long string of interviews with her lack of journalistic objectivity including integrity. Dr. Reza Aslan, was the victim of xenophobic attacks and the 4 letter word of the hour was — Islam. Her visceral condescending manner was not only insulting to Dr. Aslan but apparent to the viewer. She immediately devalued has 20 years research and the fact he studied all religions.
She framed the interview as a man who needs to be challenged because he is a Muslim which makes him unqualified to discuss the life of Jesus. The ebb and flow of the interview was interrupted by Lauren constantly talking over Dr. Aslan and she seemed disturbed by his calm and well thought responses. In the end, he had to speak to her like a 7 year old on the way to Walmart. Fox News is an obvious psychological operation to distort the perception of the target audience. Don’t believe me?
