America, Are You Ready for Some Total Eclipse of the Sun?

A total solar eclipse of the Sun is on its way on August 21, 2017, and the last one was 26 years ago! This is a sight to see if you appreciate witnessing cosmic wonders. I saw my first one in elementary school and I never forgot it. At that time, we had to look at the solar eclipse through boxes with tiny holes in them to protect our eyes. The science teacher made it very clear, if we looked directly at the eclipse we would go blind! Lucky for us today because we can now purchases special glasses to directly watch the solar eclipse.

Americans from the Pacific North West to the the South Eastern Seaboard will be able to witness this heavenly event. This all begins at 10:15 AM (PDT) on the coast of Oregon and will travel through the following states: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and finally South Carolina; ending at 2:39 (EST). Make sure you observe this with the correct protective lenses and we have some glasses we recommend below the post. Remember to mark this date on your calendar if you live in these States in America!
