Kirk Franklin: Apology to LGBT Reflects His Own Spiritual Confusion

Kirk Franklin can be considered an ambassador to Gospel Music where he helped morph traditional gospel music into the rhythm and blues sensation it is today. His self deprecating admission of an addiction to pornography made him seemingly transparent and humble. His likability factor ratcheted up the charts after this and he has sustained a lucrative recording career and has currently released his latest album (on Friday the 13th!) aptly titled, “Losing My Religion.”

If Kirk Franklin’s “religion” was to be a student of the teachings of the Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit and totally miss the teachings, then . . . mission accomplished. Kirk has veered off into blatant misunderstanding of spiritual law. A law that was taught to instruct on the “invisible” systems which run ALL Creation. This is why the Holy Spirit told Peter:

but the word of the Lord endures forever." And this is the word that was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:25)

Kirk as riding the promotional pony now so he can market his latest album and this gives us an opportunity to understand his agenda and spiritual mentality. This is also a lesson for people to realize even though a person sings about Jesus Christ does not mean they have studied and found themselves approved. It is actually our job to gently and lovingly correct Kirk and why he has put his cross in his mouth. Did these statements come out of Biblical ignorance? Or is Kirk part of the new wave of spiritual flip-floppers who are working in collusion to promote anti-Christ social behavior?

Let’s delve into Kirk’s comments from a recent interview with Essence, so we can gain an understanding of Kirk’s misunderstanding of Biblical Truth. I will show you if Kirk was a true student of the Bible he would have provided the correct verses as pertains to his answers. Get ready because you are going to realize Kirk Franklin has publicly cursed himself in the eyes of the Most High and I truly feel sorry for him. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36:)

I want to apologize for all of the hurtful and painful things that have been said about people in the church that have been talented and gifted and musical, that we’ve used and we’ve embarrassed…and all this other horrible crap that we’ve done,” Franklin said. “We have not treated them like people. We’re talking about human beings, men and women that God has created.”

“It is horrible that we have made it where the Bible is a homophobic manual,” he said. “That’s not what the Bible is. I mean, you want to talk about things that God gets at: pride and jealousy and envy and arrogance. But what we also see is God sending his son to save us all because we were all—straight, gay or whatever—lost and in need of a savior, and there’s room at the cross for all of us.”

So, there you have it . . . confusion! Let’s help Kirk understand the fallacy of his statements on the law of the Kingdom of the Most High where the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit dwell in perfection. Also, we must emphasize the Son incarnated in our physical realm to teach us the laws of the spiritual. There is also an important concept of the application of these laws to control fleshly desires.

The Revelating:

  • Kirk Franklin:  “I want to apologize for all of the hurtful and painful things that have been said about people in the church that have been talented and gifted and musical, that we’ve used and we’ve embarrassed… and all this other horrible crap that we’ve done,” Franklin said. “We have not treated them like people. We’re talking about human beings, men and women that God has created.”

Revelation Now: The biggest problem Christ had on Earth was with organized religion. By that I mean, the Sanhedrin and Pharisees which was the religious system of the land. When He returns His biggest issue will again be with the church system. So no need to apologize what has not been corrected since the ancient times.  If Kirk has been with a church that was not teaching, “Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth (2 Timothy 2:25). Then your church was not teaching you and you should have left that church. #keepingitreal

  • Kirk Franklin: “That’s not what the Bible is. I mean, you want to talk about things that God gets at: pride and jealousy and envy and arrogance. But what we also see is God sending his son to save us all because we were all—straight, gay or whatever—lost and in need of a savior, and there’s room at the cross for all of us.”: “The Bible is not a book that’s an attack on gay people … It’s not a book written to attack gay people.”

Revelation Now: The Bible is not attacking gay people at all Kirk. The Old and New Testament teachings, illustrate same sex unions, are not natural and Creation is fueled by duality in the Spirit and in the flesh. The same sex union does not have a spiritual counterpart in the Creation Matrix. Remember, Kirk, when the Godhead created Spiritual Laws, Creation sprang-forth from them! Then the Godhead dropped the mic and walked off the stage. These laws are immutable and the Holy Spirit made that clear in 1 Peter 1:25.

Kirk Franklin: “It is horrible that we have made it where the Bible is a homophobic manual,”

Revelation Now: Again, Kirk does not understand what the Holy Spirit conveyed when instructing on the unnatural act between same sexes. Creation has no place for life bearing seed deployed in a waste evacuation system. The Bible was never being homophobic Kirk, and you should have corrected that illusion. The Bible IS “unatural-ophobic” because it knows what translates into a spiritual duality and what does not.

  • Kirk Franklin“That’s not what the Bible is. I mean, you want to talk about things that God gets at: pride and jealousy and envy and arrogance. But what we also see is God sending his son to save us all because we were all—straight, gay or whatever—lost and in need of a savior, and there’s room at the cross for all of us.”

Revelation Now: Kirk, pride, jealousy, envy, and arrogance or emotions and are not considered an unnatural act. They are low level vibratory emotional states that are heavy and prohibit the person from evolving upward spiritually. In this case Kirk is mixing apples with oranges.

Yes, Kirk, is finally right! The Father did send His Son to die for all of our sins, BUT, Christ also taught to go away and SIN no more. So you cannot turn a SIN into LIFESTYLE and say it is okay in the realm of the Kingdom (as he is on stage singing about Christ like he know!) of the Most High!

Yes, there is room on the cross for all of us IF you are following His ways . . . not man’s ways, Kirk.  This is nothing more than being lukewarm on the Word and Christ will tell you He does not know you. Christ will open up your spiritual DNA test and tell you He is not your Father. This was nothing more than additional babble to shore up a statement based on spiritual nothingness.

Romans 1:24-27 (NIV)

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

As you can see just because a man sings church music does not make him a disciple. Discipleship is something you have to work at and seeking truth are the bricks in the long narrow path. The Spirit of Truth should be spoken at all times when representing the teachings in the Bible. There is no room for misunderstanding either because you either recognize Spiritual Truth or you do not. For Kirk Franklin to share his understanding of Scripture is the perfect way to recognize who these people really are . . . entertainers. BTW, who likes to have Kool-Aid colored lips? Hmm.
