We are at an age where if you can imagine it you can build it or if you see it you can replicate it. With MakerBots plastic prototypes are now affordable and can be manufactured from the comfort of your home. Now we have a gentleman who has fabricated the gauntlet from Marvel comics Iron Man’s suit. It even has a raisable port for the missile Iron Man launches.

The fabricator added LED lighting and also a low powered laser that can pop balloons. All and all, it is a quite impressive fabrication and it makes me realize one day Iron Man will be a reality. With the evolution of nanotechnology merged with computerized mechanics and exoskeletons it is only a matter of time before we see these suits in production.
